Web Hosting

While it is true that there are many options to choose from when considering your web host, none can compare to the security and personal service our clients receive here at PC House Productions. You can rest easy knowing that there is a real person on the other end of the line if something does go wrong. It is also reassuring that we know each and every one of our clients. We know what types of scripts are running on their sites. We know if there is a security flaw. And we support the necessary patches and upgrades on our server to host the most robust of websites. Here are just a few specifics about our basic hosting package.

For your security;

• We have two Cisco ASR1004 firewall/routers in place.
• We use RedHat Enterprise Linux to ensure there will always be nearly immediate patches available for security issues in the operating system as issues are discovered. The servers themselves are stripped of all unnecessary software and only left with what is needed for the server to perform its web serving duties, i.e. no graphical display, audio/video, games, etc. like you typically find on Windows-based web servers.

Here is an example of our redundancy;

• We use Level 3′s data center near the Tampa airport. We currently have four gigabits of connectivity, two from Level 3, one from TWTelecom and one from InterNAP. It would be nearly impossible for us to have any data server issues.
• Server is backed up nightly

And if that’s not enough, every basic hosting package also receives;

• Email accounts @ your domain name
• When you call us, we answer the phone. You do not end up in a phone loop
